I went to Ember for brunch with a friend. We sat outside in the patio area, which was perfect with the beautiful weather. Service was fast and our waitress was very friendly. I started with the breakfast margarita. It was both tasty and visually appealing with a pearl cocktail pick and black salted rim. We ordered the plantain stack and the chorizo hash. The pancakes were big and fluffy. They had plantains on top of them as well as inside. The chorizo hash was definitely my favorite. The ground chorizo was delicious and it paired well with the peppers, potatoes and hollandaise sauce. Both dishes were more than enough to share between two people. I would definitely return to Ember Kitchen for dinner.

We are long time customers at Ember but I finally got the chance to get burger and it was awesome! I asked for the pork belly on the side as it is a lot of fat (I only cut the meaty part!). The meat was tender and medium rare as requested! Delicious!

I foresee and taste a Michelin Star! This place was out of this world. A must if you're in Austin! First off reservations... at least for 2 people, there are two options. The chefs counter and dining room. Not being from Austin I really didn't know the difference although I assumed it would be close to the chef, or possibly a different menu. Needless to say, I wasn't able to find anything on yelp but booked the chef's counter and so glad I did! We had the absolutely BEST experience sitting just feet away from the kitchen watching the chef and staff run a well oiled machine. Got to speak to Chef Brice and complimented him on the dishes which were layered with flavors. He said he may add mint to the Josper Haibut, which would be a fantastic addition, so stay tuned. We were welcomed with shots and these seasoned pork rinds that were very good, especially with a touch of lime. Our server Tina was very attentive and the way she described the menu made my mouth water. Drink: The Amor Fuerte was first adorable with little hearts in the egg white for Valentine's Day weekend, and also tasty. It's a tart drink. Main dish: I got the Josper Halibut, which was incredible. The flavors tied in so well together and the fish was perfectly cooked. I had no idea what a Josper oven was until I went to Ember. Let them tell you all about it and how rare they are! The dinner was an entire experience sitting at the Chef's Counter and I highly recommend it! Side bar... they had a filet dish that also looked good, but the filet that came in that day was not up to the Chef's expectations, so it was replaced by wagu. That just shows you the level of dedication and love that this place has for cooking.

Everything was delicious! Service was great!! We got complimentary shots, chicharrón, and a chocolate flan dessert for our friend's birthday. Our waitress was definitely "Austin quirky", attentive, and explained the dishes/cooking process well. She also had us select knives to use for our meal, which was a neat touch. The caviar bites were really fresh and light, the fish and porkchop were perfectly cooked, all of the sauces were amazing (especially the chimichurri), and I loved the potatoes so much!! The interior is gorgeous, especially during the day since there are tall windows and greenery inside. Pricey but you can tell that everything was expertly made with great ingredients. Would definitely recommend for you to try at least once if you're in the area.

I've heard wonderful things about the scallops here, so I had to come see for myself! The ambiance is great, very moody and the service was good. The scallops lived up to the hype and were absolutely delicious! The corn mousse was to die for and I wish I could have had another side of it. My partner ordered the wagyu steak which I was originally excited for, but it was extremely salty and not the best dish. I would come back here just for the scallops!

Ember was a real treat. And for so many reasons. For starters I advise making a reservation, if able. I was in town for work and Yelp helped lead us to Ember. The space is three levels offering cozy decor with floor to ceiling glass windows and a beautifully centered bar. Damon took care of us and man did he take care of us. He treated us to a round of welcome shots with chicharron for the table to kick us off right. He explained the menu extremely thoroughly offering fan favorites along with his own given it was our first time dining in. We started with the mussels, shrimp and filet skewers which were plenty for five of us to share between us. The sauce that came with the mussels was my favorite and could've been enjoyed with a straw. Luckily the bread was the perfect option reassuring nothing went to waste. The skewers were on top of a flavorful and spiced green sauce. And the shrimp was gone in three minutes. And this was just the starters. When it was time for our entrees to be delivered, Damon came around offering each of us our choice of steak knives. Between us all we had the wagyu and filet while some added a side lobster tail because why not. The Wagyu came with homemade tortillas and sautéed onions to make the most tender and delicious tacos. Hats off to the chef because everything was truly *chefs kiss*. If you're in Austin, swing by Ember. I promise you won't leave disappointed now unsatisfied. Thank you for the hospitality, Damon!

Date Night! We had the most incredible dinner this evening with cocktails, apps, entrees and a fabulous homemade dessert! The attention to detail of not only each item that comes out of the bar or kitchen is immaculate! The hospitality is more than I could ask for from the host, to our server to the chef. We are greeted with smiles and then treated like family and royalty at the same time! I felt at home yet treated like I could not and should not have a care in the world. I could talk for hours on the plating and flavoring of each dish. My mind is blown!!

The Good: Sat at Chef's bar whet the action was. Admittedly, if you're combining meat and fire, you're ahead in my book! After a discussion about how I prefer my steak, our waiter suggested medium-rare plus! And let me tell you - that's how it was served! The Not So Good: If I had to nitpick, I might have liked 2 crab cakes so it was easier to share. The Bad: More like sad. We had to leave because they had another reservation. Completely acceptable because we had already gorged ourselves. Might also have been nice if they offered a happy hour.

Probably a top 3 dining experience I've had in Austin. Came on a Sunday night and enjoyed an incredible, flavorful and wholesome dinner. My server Brayan was so kind and attentive. He provided excellent recommendations for an unforgettable meal I texted friends about visiting again ASAP while still eating. I had the filet, the carrot and the broccolini. Everything was PACKED with flavor, perfectly balanced and cooked to perfection. Spicing was perfect. The textures and flavors married perfectly. Extra nice was the welcome cocktail shot, mocktail shot, chips and guacamole and complimentary huge dessert (absolutely DIVINE by the way!) In a time where restaurants are stingy, Ember is generous and it so adds to the entire experience of being in such a cool building with amazing music. 15/10 recommend!

Loved this place! Walking in, the mood is immediately set. Low lights and evening chatter!! This place has a Hispanic inspired menu and they do a great job at paying homage to those roots. Lots of land and sea options. We got the octopus to start. Delicious, very tender and well made. A bit oily but overall delicious. The salmon stole the show though! It was soft and perfectly made and well seasoned. The potatoes were lackluster and the bok choy were okay but the salmon is truly the star. Great service overall!
